OG-Student Transparency Project
One of our goals is to provide more transparency between the school and the students. This would provide for a more educated opinion on school events and decisions, as well as provide a fair experience for the Sewanee community. The first step of facilitating transparency is to provide a platform of communication directly from OG to the Sewanee Community.
The OG-Student Transparency Project was led by Izzie Berthelot '23, during her Sub-Chair role in 2022-2023. This project addresses the value of transparency between the University and the students as implemented by the Order of the Gown. This website was formed to allow for Sewanee Community members to learn about the Order of the Gown's missions, focuses, and current projects and representatives. This website also serves as the platform for communication with the Order fo the Gown for feedback, ideas, and concerns, through meeting submissions and is maintained by the Secretary. We also hope to use this platform to share OG events and updates for the Sewanee Community to remain informed.
